English Ministry

• We want to congratulate Jennifer Kelley and Matthew Yi’s marriage ceremony yesterday. May the love of God be the center of their marriage.

•EM Winter Retreat planning meeting # 2: Today Nov. 16^th (From 11:15 A.M. - 12:15 P.M.) in room 208 (Education Building across PJ’s office). Bring your lunches. Retreat date: Jan. 23-25 (Fri-Sun) 2009. Place: Camp Alta.

•Operation Christmas Child due today. Make the $7 check payable to Samaritan's Purse and write Operation Christmas Child on the memo. If you’re still interested in sending in a box, you can drop it off at Pastor James home by tonight.

•Thanksgiving Offering Envelopes are inserted today. Let’s prepare our hearts for giving to God.

•Next Sunday is Thanksgiving Sunday. EM will have worship at 9:15 a.m. (not 10 a.m.). KM, Elementary, Youth will have joint worship with Baptism/Confirmation at 11:40. We need volunteers to prepare meals for the thanksgiving lunch (KM/EM). “Oscar Reward” has been cancelled.

• The November issue of Living Life is available for $3.50.

• Offering types and names: From now on, we will indicate offering types and names in the bulletin in order to make things more transparent. Please use different types of offering envelopes for your offering.

•EM Shepherd’s Meeting with pastor Park is today November 16 (5:30 p.m.) at Koh’s residence.

• No Korean School next Sunday (Thanksgiving Sunday)

• Next Jesus Meeting: Sunday, Nov. 30 (2:30 p.m.). PJ’s office.

• EM Christmas Party: Sunday, Dec. 21^st (Place: volunteer needed)

•Weekly Bible Study going on now: New Life (Tues.) & Godly Life (Wed.)

•Refreshment volunteers needed. Please sign up today.

•Special Offerings: For Ark Mission Church financial support. Please write "Financial Support" in your envelop. We also are taking donation for a new Keyboard. Write “Keyboard” in your offering envelope

• Support missionaries financially on a monthly basis.
($5-10 per month)

•Bring an “unchurched” friend to your house church meetings and to Sunday worship so that they may be saved and know God’s love.

Youth Group

•Welcome everyone, if you are new, please meet HJ JDSN after worship.

•Baptism Prep. Class Meeting: Today 12:55-1:30 with HJ Kim JDSN at Pastor James' office.

• Youth Group lunch time right after the worship (12:30 PM to 12:45 PM).

• Winter Retreat Prep Meeting (teachers only). 2 p.m. (Covenant Hall)
Winter Retreat Theme: "I Am" Dates: Dec. 28 - 30. (Sun-Tues)

• QT Sena is the textbook for the small group. You are responsible to pay only the half of the cost (the church pays the rest). Please bring $6 for three months of issues.

•Today’s appointment with HJ JDSN: postponed due to Baptism Prep. mtng.
